Hello all, well i have read some posts here about Matrox cards. Up to now i have been using 2 cards in my pc's. 1 cheap pci for the interface and a Geforce for the output. But i am still very interrested in the Matrox cards (G550 for example). Main question, do they have black borders around the tv output? Because if they do then i will continue to use the geforce cards with my scanconvertors.
Ow, before i forget. The Ati cards, do they have black borders on their tv output?

you are right about the zoom but ati supports a technique similar to dvd max, it's called the theatre mode and is found in teh overlay tab of your the advanced settings of your videocard. If you haev the latest drivers you shouuld be able to use the theatre mode.
enable dvd amx in resolume and there you go.
cheers

i highly recommend the matrox g550.
With the dual-head zoom you can output any portion of your monitor. This is very useful for all sorts of programs, not just resolume.
