Dashboard & presets bug

I'm trying to make the most out of the dashboard (which I love!) for my plugin presets, but I've encountered a bug which is quite annoying and messes up the UX big time.

If I load a preset which includes dashboard macros, the labels for each are imported, which is great and here's the but:

The position of the dashboard dials does not match the positions of the parameters they are controlling. When I first load the preset, all dashboard dials are set to 0, yet many of the parameters they are controlling are not set to zero in the preset.

This discrepancy causes many problems, as soon as you move a dashboard dial, the parameter controlled by the dashboard suddenly jumps to update itself with the corresponding dashboard's position. This means that presets become kind of worthless if they have dashboard functionality as they are destroyed the minute you tweak a dial.

Let's say that a dashboard dial controls the wet/dry of an effect preset. When the preset is loaded, the wet/dry is effectively at 50% but the dashboard says it's at 0. This is not only confusing, it messes up a lot of other things, especially if the dashboard is used for macros controlling loads of parameters.

I understand there might be other factors at play here, like what happens if there are parameters from other effects already using the dashboard. To remedy this, I suggest a "pick up" method like is used to avoid jumps when using MIDI controllers. In any case, it would be great if the dashboard dials reflect exactly what the preset dictates if the dashboard was not being used at the time of loading the preset.

Other issues I've found, include the dashboard suddenly changing it's labels for no apparent reason. I've reported this elsewhere.

Also, I've found the dashboard to retain some labels and in-use green colour even after deleting the entire effect to which it was assigned when the behaviour should be greyed out and no label.

Here's an example where this has happened. I can't remove the highlight colour from the dial without deleting the whole clip.

It's a shame that all these bugs are present as the dashboard is, without a doubt, one of the most powerful interface features in Resolume. It enables incredible things, but right now I'm stumped as I was about to release a plugin making full use of it and now I'm not sure what to do...

After further investigation, I've found out that when only one parameter is mapped to a dashboard dial, finding that parameter and clicking on it's level marker will make the dashboard dial update itself to the correct position.

If there is more than one parameter assigned to the dial though, (which is the whole point of the dashboard!), doing the above does not work and the only way to fix the error is to manually adjust the dashboard dial, which messes up the preset.
