Ouput Fullscreen through SVideo Out

Hello, this is probably not a problem but as I'm a newbie and have tried any possible way I could think of without success I decided to post it here as I have a gig tomorrow...
What I want to do is output fullscreen from my laptop on a tv monitor through svideo out. I have connected the tv monitor to my laptop through SVideo and I have managed to make it work as a second monitor for my laptop with dual monitor function but whenever I open Resolume (2.3) it seems that the tv monitor disconnects and I have no picture at all... Is there a way to do it? Thanks!
