Hey i was just wondering, Where do you feel that the Future of Vjing is heading?

I mean...Do you think its future is dependant on technology and clubs as well as the large archives of film available or does the future of Vjing rest upon an individual’s creativity and own unique approach?

Just thought id see what you guys think!?

Thanks

While the amount of money a club spends on technology opens opportunities for artists, but being limited by your resources often forces one to be more creative.

I have alot more respect for a turntablist DJ than a "DJ" who uses Ableton for live events.

I'll come back to this post with an entire article written up. Too tired right now

So you are saying that you respect more Dj who sycn 2 tracks and mix them, then one who ''produces on the fly'', creat a set wiht lots of tracks, loops, samples ?

What I meant was that alot of people use technology as a crutch. A turntablist does waaay more than just beatmatch. I have the utmost respect for people who do live PA's

a turntable dj can be just as boreing as an ableton user, i think with both its down to using what you have at your disposal.
