Is Resolume purely a live VJing tool or can it be used to edit video footage into a film?

im sure you could but the footage would have to be compressed using codecs that resolume likes for smooth playback ,plus you would have to send it to whatever source you are recording to via analog so overall you may loose a bit of quality,
