Hi,
I'm setting up a system to be able to control resolume COMPLETELY from another PC. Here's how it goes.
I use a Sony VAIO (subnotebook) with an attached USB midicontroller (which I haven't bought yet...
). On the vaio I run a midisequencer to program some predefined loops, as with the keyboard/controller I can do some live stuff.
I send the midi data through tcp/ip to the resolume machine.
Secondly I have developped a little app. to send text and commands to flashmovies playing in resolume.
So I can type in text on my VAIO, this will be displayed on the resolume machine
I can allso built in some controls, with will not be realtime but with half a second lag or so. This is due to some drawbacks of using flash in resolume.
It would be great if we could use the "local connection" feature of Flash MX in resolume!
BTW:
It's really cool to control Goliath (my big machine) with David (my little VAIO) "J
cheers!
Martijn
