Hi Folks

Have just purchased a 2.41 license (wohoo) on the back of some successful tryouts in various creative settings. The software has been pretty stable on the whole, but I have experienced a few crashes here and there, with Flash anims and certain FF plugins, and some mysterious loss of functionality at times (I couldn't get a MOV to play last night but no prob with AVIs).

To experienced users ... what tips and advice could you offer to maximize stability and reduce the lieklihood of crashes during a set?

What kind of things create crashes for you? (i.e. what should I avoid)

First of all read the Resolume manual very carefully and then follow the fantastic vj manual by VJzoo http://members.iinet.net.au/%7Eubermole ... upload.pdf
I strongly recommend you to use a dual boot system to use one of them exclusively just to run Resolume on gig's and you can follow one of the many tutorial found in the web for improve windows performance by disabling some of the services and some other tweaks.

I've already done most of the performance tweaks as I also use my laptop for live audio with Ableton, and have combed through the manual pretty closely.
