Hello,
I search the midi map to use BCD3000.
I love Resolume and now i make my videos and put this files in home's paty.
BCD3000 is a very nice choice for enjoy. And now, i really need midi mapping config!
Maybe last week i post here...if, nobody knows
Thanks for all.

The MIDI map information for the BCD 3000 is in the manual:
http://www.behringer.com/BCD3000/index.cfm
Everything is sent as a regular MIDI CC or Note message, so you can use the Resolume MIDI learn function. You don't need to know the mapping really.
The only complicated thing is the scratch wheels, which send a +1 or -1 depending on which way you spin them.
You can probably use MIDIOX to remap these into MIDI Note messages that Resolume can use to move the playhead backwards or forwards.

Hey! I also have a BCD3000 and the jogwheels doesn't work properly, have you tried to remap the notes with MIDIOX and does it work?

Hi,
Could someone monitor the BCD3000 signals in MIDIOX or other monitor and tell me what values it gives when incrementing and decrementing. Maybe i can add another endless mode to the controller settings.

If I monitor the signals of the jogwheels in MIDIOX when I spin them forwards you will see no change in the DATA2 row, it stays 41. When you spin the jogweels forwards very fast DATA2 will vary between 41 and 49. When you spin the jogwheels backwards at an even speed DATA2 will be 3F, when you spin them backwards very fast DATA2 will vary between 3F and 37 (3F, 3E, 3D, 3C, 3B, 3A, 39, 38, 37).
So if you increment or decrement at an even speed the DATA2 row will stay the same.
By the way I'm just new to MIDIOX so correct me if I'm wrong!

Additional information:
When I put the jogwheel over Transport in direct midi mapping in mode Absolute and I spin the jogwheel the clip jumps to the center of the transport line, when in mode Relative (0 - 127) and I spin the jogwheel the clip freezes until I stop spinning. In mode Relative (63 - 65) the same story.

Thanx casnl for the information.
I will have a look what i can do.
If you set the transport control to pause and then spin the wheel (in relative mode) does that make a difference?
Also try to changing the step value if that's really small, it might be changing the position but in such small steps that it isn't really noticeable.

Tried to pause and then spin the wheel: it still jumps to the center of the transport line...
As for the step value: it stays fixed at 31.797, so I can't change that.
I also tried to hook up my BCD3000 with Resolume 2.41 (on the playhead). Fixed it also jumps to the center, when set to endless I can change the step but still it freezes when I spin and takes steps (sizes depends on how big I set the step) around that freezing point when I keep on spinning, really weird...

The new beta doesn't offer any solutions. However if I assign a jogwheels to a playhead now, with mode Relative (0-127) and I give it a spin the playheadcursor goes backwards, doesn't matter which direction I spin the wheel.
The BCD3000 works great, the only problem is the playhead.
I'd also like to see transport controls per layer, like Resolume 2. That way I don't have to assign the transport controls of every individual clip.
I hope someone knows a solution to my problem!
