hi my friend and i hope to do a perfoormance in which he audio plays loops submitted by other people ..each time he plays a loop we want the name or picture of the submitter to appear on screen . i will be performin other visuals also, but we realy want to show names of people along with each audio loop as its played..
i have an edirol v4 and a laptop obviously running reolume..my guess is a i could split the screen
channel 1 (my laptop runnin my visuals)
channel2 (accepting midi from his audio output)
and showin tothe 2 at the same time through picute in picture perhaps..

has anybody any experience of this or done this before ? if so how did you do it?
