I have been keenly checking out avenue over the weekend now on (Monday) I have tried to load it and get the error: Unable to locate component cv096.dll was not found....
I unistalled and re-installed and still get this error...?
Please can you help...

This is caused by some FF plugins, did you copy yor old plugins to the Resolume Avenue / plugins folder?
Resolume 3 does not work with FF1.0 plugins, only FFGL 1.5 openGL plugins.

I added an address for my extra FF plug-ins in Avenue, however I want to keep them in the same folder for Resolume... Can you bypass the FX when Avenue loads...? then I can remove the link...?

Delete the config.xml file in ~/My Documents/Resolume avenue 3/settings/
And Avenue will start again.

One feature I am really missing is the ability to create rendered clips from the output
