I just tested the new beta rev1110 and there seems still to be the issue like in the old beta. (http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3998)
the direct keyboard and midi mappings are lost after saving a composition, restarting resolume and reloading the composition.
both windows and mac version seem to have this problem.

resolume team, can you confirm that issue or am I doing something wrong?

yeah, i also hoped this would be fixed. still have the same problem.

The keyboardmapping is working just fine here. Also after restart of Avenue they are all autoloaded in last composition.

MIDImapping also works like it should be. Also after restart of Avenue they are all autoloaded in last composition.

You need to save the composition after assigning the mappings!

(i use windows pc)

that's what I do. I map my keyboard and then I save the composition. But after restarting resolume, the direct mapping is lost. Only the contextual mapping is restored.

I think its only some mappings that are lost... When assigning a direct mapping to a layer it won't save... these mappings are saved in contextual mode. Combined, they are all saved. (strange...)

To be true.. i can't really get the point in direct en contextual mapping. What is the difference and why is in contextual mapping only layer 1 highlighted?

[edit] ok.. I found the layer/deck switch in contextual mode.. make more sense now..

Hi guys.

I have not succeed map some functions like "bpm" or transport buttons for clip options in "direct midi map".This is not working for my bcr 2000 same as for keys.

I have try to save the composition , save the mapping -all i find on this forum , but for now only "contextual" works.

Any tips ? Is this bug or I'm missing something? How the hell I can just fix midi or the key to bpm in "direct' and save it ? so after restart i see last composition and mapping i have made.

that was also always my question but nobody seems able to answer it. I wonder why the resolume team can't just tell if they confirm that as a bug or not. so please tell us!!

I'm going to be at Beamlab #12 in Amsterdam were Reesolume 3 will have presentation - perhaps this is the chance to ask ?... If you have some more, essential question about how thinks works , let me know...

For me the mapping issue seems to be the most important point I can think of for now. So I would really appreciate it if you can ask the developers.... good luck!

How do you make the buttons on your keyboard work for your computer? Like the msn button, and the sound button on the keyboard? How do you make them work?
