i've tried this below...there is no 'fot1.fff' and 'fot2.fff' files to delete. what do i do?
There is no text visible in the interface. This is a bug with the custom fonts. Just delete the two files: 'fot1.fff' and 'fot2.fff' in the 'C:Program FilesResolume' folder

for all of you having problems with the text disappearing, we have updated the trouble shooting section and this should fix the problem:
When resolume starts it creates two files: 'fot1.fff' and 'fot2.fff'. These files contain the fonts used in resolume. If these files are still in the 'C:Program FilesResolume' folder when resolume is not running delete them and start resolume. Usually this solves the problem. It not, start resolume and copy the file: 'fot1.fff' and rename it to 'feisar.ttf'. Copy this file into the 'C:WINDOWSFonts' folder to install this font. Restart resolume and you should definitely be fine.
don´t work

In my system the files fot1.fff and fot2.fff don't show up when I run resolume. instead prefuser.fff and shorts.fff are created.
I try restart the system, search the HD trying to locate the files, reinstall the program, etc. But I got no results.
Any help or information?
I have a Pentium 4 1.5, 256de RAM, Geforce5700VTD c/ 128Mb, Windows 2000 and a Pinnacle DC10 installed.

can you check if the font named Feisar is installed in windows?

YES. either the feisar.ttf and the feizar bold.ttf are installed. both are functional.
I try remove then and change by one of the *.fff archives created in the first run of the program, but they don´t work.
why the fot*.* files aren´t created? any idea?
if helps, my PC has a version of Windows ME installed, but they don´t work anymore. this could cause a conflict?

Hi all,
Only in older version of resolume 1.x the font files are created.
From version 2.x that's not the case anymore, before the designer of the fonts didn't want us to install them on windows. We had to make a workaround and installed the fonts only when running resolume, so when it started the fonts were installed and when it was closed the fonts were uninstalled. This was a bit of a hack of course and buggy once in a while. From version 2.x we started to install the fonts during installation. So those problems would not occur anymore.
So i find it strange that same problems ocuur again. Amuze did you run 1.x prior to running 2.x.?
Cheers
Edwin
