Beatloopr only available sometimes?!

Hi there

I'm fooling around with rev1110 and like it very much so far. It's far more stable, thus reliable! Great!

A little problem i've encountered: The beatloopr is oftenly not in the interface. Never when using quicktime movies (which are -correct me if i'm wrong- the best way to use clips with alpha channel). And never when the clips are short. But i think that even a 8sec clips, concisting of 8 or 16 nanoloops, can be quite interesting for the beatloopr!
Am i doing anything wrong? Any option i missed?

Best,
Marcel // MFO

The Beatloopr is only available for audio clips at the moment.
So if you load a audio file or a video file which contains an audio track the beatloopr will be available.
It length of the clip has nothing to do with this.

Thanks for the helpful info. I used my clips with empty audiotracks, so the beatloopr was available.

I would wish for future releases:
* To have the beatloopr available to all clips. I find it really helpful when VJing - but surely it depends on your personal approach to work. I prefer to throw dozens of beat loopable variations of one video/graphic/animation into one clip. I prefer this over having to deal with a million little video files.
* To be able to loop longer passages, like 8 or 16 beats. I.e. in dubstep you can find longer beat sequences quite often (at least in non-rave dubstep^^) ...
I know, space is limited. Maybe the user can choose what values the 8 buttons of the beatloopr shall represent?!
