Midi Mapping

Well i was running in to challenges while mapping my vmx vj to the new resolume(3).
First thing, when try i map the box in a colum/layer, it moves/delete, if i move/delete the clip (in direct mapping) and under contextual mapping i can only map the boxes in the first layer.
Is there maybe a way to select a layer and then enter in contextual mapping to map the boxes of that layer?
Secondly, i can't seem to map the layer/composition playback, in and out points etc. its just per clip..
If I'm missing something, please let me know
But i have to say (got the software a 1/2 day), this is going to rock live
