Bug or Not Bug?

hey guys,
I've come across a questionable behavior in Avenue...first, i'll set up a composition with some vids & pics, apply some visual effects to each and set some speed adjustments; then save the composition. If I happen to change the layer a clip is on in the deck, it's speed gets reset back 1.00...bug or not?
Addtionally, after closing Avenue, starting it up again and loading up the saved composition, I find that my clip speed settings are again reset back to 1.00 as well as the parameters for all the applied video effects are reset to their defaults...bug or not?
Currently running WinXP Pro SP3 32bit.
