hi,
I send here attached the report from my intel macbookPro, after Avenue crashed many times, while changing from A to B file browser panels, or simply loading clips into decks.
My last crash was five min. ago with 3.0.1 installed
¿any ideas?

What kind of video files are you using?
Please send me the log file that Avenue creates on your computer:
MAC: /Users/[username]/Library/Logs/Resolume Avenue 3 log.txt
PC: C:/Documents and Settings/[username]/Application Data/Resolume/Resolume Avenue 3 log.txt
Hopefully that will show us what is going wrong.

hi,
I´ve been using mostly .mov (photoJPG) and some .avi (DV, cinepack). videos with 720x576 give me problems.
Attached, the report from Avenue.
thanks!

DV is not a good codec to use with Resolume. For AVIs the best codec is Indeo. For .movs you should use the new DXV codec from Resolume.

i had the same problem on my macbook pro.
all my clips were mov (photoJPG) - as recommended in the tutorial and i got a crash around every 5 minutes.
so i converted all files to the new dxv-codec. this was a long work and 2 computers rendered nearly 48h to do - but it was worth!
all decks are loading much faster now and i got no single crash in my last 6h set.
big thank you and thumb up for the new codec.

if you use avenue 3 final und allready have the codec.
use a batch-converter like (Livid Istruments Batch Export Utility)
http://www.lividinstruments.com/support_downloads.php
i tried media converter cs4 and got a lot of wrong clips, but with the lividinstruments batch converter everything was finde - you only need a lot of time ,-)
