Total Newbie questions about Resolume and Ableton

Hi I m looking at Resolume for use with Ableton but I have a few questions:
Is not having rewire a problem
Are there any issues/requirements using Ableton and Resolume on the same machine.
Can I use Resolume to mix full music videos and if so how does it handle beat matching the two videos.
Ideally I would like to swap beween audio DJing on Ableton and triggering effects etc in Resolume and then swap over to mixing full music videos and then back again. Is this possible and if so how does the audio from both Ableton and Resolume get handled?
