Mapping midi...

I don't know if it's a very noob question or maybe it's not possible, but:
There's a way to map the Bypass button in the application midi map, focused on layer?
Imagine I have an effect (Colorize, for example) in every layer (3 layers in my composition) and I want to bypass that effect with a single button, depending on wich layer is selected. But the only way to map the bypass is in the composition midi map, and if I do in that way it affects all the layers (not only the selected).
This is possible with the "rotatory controls" using the Dashboard, but it have only 6 knobs and if I have more than 6 "rotatory parameters" to map I have the same problem.
Any idea?
