Is it possible to connect a USB webcam in Resolume or can I just use an acquisition card ?

Yes a webcam works nicelly exept is't little heavy for your hardware so it might crash when loading it to your deck while playing

just a basic setup laptop with usb webcam. Or mayby its my machine. It works nicelly once it's running with all the layering effects.
Actually i was thinking to use 3 cams to do some crazy loopings

And to use 3 cams, your just connect your 3 cams on 3 usb plugs and the software recognize simply all the 3 cams ?

Well in reality it doesnt work at all, wel yes two cams will work on usb, but is unstable, if computer crashes due USB-host-error/same driver error you are fu*ked.
Then one of your drivers is deleted!...sow yeah maybe two cams if it works but 3? NAH! telle me if it works....and how..I have a 3.0 ghz machine with 1500mb internal mem/ and a good graphiccard....

Hi,
there are cards on the market with upt to 8 composite ins... but than u have to have 8 cameras... well, lets say u got something to put your mony aside for...
the cards are not expensive at all... enly the 8 cameras
the cards are sold as home security cards.
