I downloaded the demo version of avenue 3.0.1 on my Asus laptop (Core2duo 2,4 Ghz, 4GbRAM, ATI HD3650, Vista 32bits), it works fine but whe I try to open a new composition or create a new one, Avenue freeze and finally crash...
It make me crazy because it could be a very powerfull program without all that bugs...
I also had a crash when I try to close a video effect from the layer properties panel.
And finally, I noticed a lot of flick on the main output when using DVX codec (it plays good with MJPEG, but at a loooow framerate )
I had same problem when trying avenue on my other and older laptop (Asus F3se, Core2duo 2ghz and ATI X2300)

Any issues ??????????

i have the same problem if i'm running ati tray tools in the background.. without it works fine...
maybe use another graphic driver if you don't use ati tray tools. (with the ati tray tools you can overclock your ati card, worked fine on my laptop, gained about 20% performance )
