poor output quality :(

I have a big problem with output quality on my Asus F8 laptop (Core2Duo, ATI HD3650).
With a high-res loop (1600x800) scaled on a 1280x1024 composition, brightness is very low, and there is a kinf of big pixel on the details of the video.
I did a test with the same resolution and same loop on GrandVJ, and wow ! see the difference :

The loop is exactly the same (even if I have not made a printscreen at the same position in the video, brightness is constant on all the timeline)
Video loop is quicktime animation with alpha channel.

Is there a way to solve this -very- boring problem ????

Thanx !

Wow that is a very big difference! Can you please email this video to us? If it's too big please email us anyway and we'll give you access to our ftp server.

Are you sure you are not playing the video in a layer with the opacity at 50%?
Are you sure the videos are scaled back to the same resolution in both avenue and arkaos?
Also, can you try to disable the global effects and blend modes in the video preferences to see if that makes any difference?

Please get in touch, we' like to solve this issue asap.

I tried with effects and blend mode off, I had same results. Video is strictly the same res/size/opacity on both Avenue and GVJ.
I don't have this problem when encoding the video in DVX or MJPEG, but I need to have alpha available on this visuals ;)
File is too big for email, please send me an ftp adress via pm ;)

Thanx !!!!!
