What is the highest resolution Avenue can output? Without taking into consideration the super computer you would have to have

4096*4096, this is a common harware limit. Maybe some videocards allready support higher resolution but we limited to this.

hmm, I'm interested in being comfortably mixing 1920x480.
Will it help me that the height is small even though the width is large?

I have an average new pc with a duel core and Nvidia 260

It's 3x 640x480 so that should work fine!

Try to use the new DXV codec if you're working with Avenue! It will give your "higher" resolution files a boost!
