"You do not have to transfer your license, just enter the serial again on your new computer or after you have reinstalled. You can also use your serial on both Mac and PC."

so, one can enter the serial number an unlimited amount of time ?

i have not entered my serial # nor registered my paid copy yet, but i will need to very soon. i didn't because i have avenue 3 installed on both my full system and my vj partition and soon i will be updating to new hard drives on my laptop...so, i waited in case there is a limitation in entry of serial number - do you know what i mean, am i clear ?

There is indeed a limitation... i think it was 5 times?
I discovered that the hard way when my system was crashing a few times and i installed it several times after a full reinstall of windows...

After a mail with Bart there was a solution

Yeah if you can not register anymore you just give us a call or send us an email and we'll raise the limit. No problem.
