Thanks for those. Tried a demo of arkaos and I've got to say i didn't really like it.
I use a pc lappy with resolume but i work at a community arts centre where they've just bought a load of mac powerbooks. We really want to do some VJ workshops with kids and something which works like resolume would be IDEAL.
is there anything?

My vote is for VDMX too.. and they've got a stripped back version called Grid which is great to play on. Trial versions available for download.. check 'em..
