resolume 3.0.1 demo
windows xp
m-audio audiophile 24/96

i have the m-audio audiophile soundcard(delta series), but by default it's trying to load up the Directsound drivers or some sort of Asio Multimedia drivers(not the real asio ones).

so the dialog comes up that the audio configuration might be unstable(because it's the wrong drivers), and then it crashes. i can't figure out how to flip the right drivers on cause it crashes so fast. in the log it ends at:
load plugin: C:\Program Files\Resolume Avenue 3.0.1\plugins\vfx\SyzGL_VideoWall.dll
load succeeded
load plugin: C:\Program Files\Resolume Avenue 3.0.1\plugins\vfx\SyzGL_Vignette.dll
load succeeded
begin Setup secondary contexts
end Setup secondary contexts
create audio engine
Adding destination (address: 108847896) to audio callback, inputPair are 0
Succesfully added destination with index

a lot of people is actually having problem with audio drivers on resolume 3, causing *no* startup.

Pc, (ozone)

I hope somebody is having the same problem (the same kind of problem).
so we can solve it.

Resolume with no pro (not even pro, but double-listening) sound card is not an audiovisual tool, but (just?) a good vj software.
cheers.

hi, ozone is pretty identical to delta series cards. you're right, without a soundcard it's just a visual tool, but if it can't even start up, then it's no tool at all.

We had no problems so far with some ASIO cards we tested here.
We tested it on three different ASIO devices, it's hard for us to know if all hardware works correct. We would like to assume once the ASIO support is there all ASIO cards should work. But that's an utopia i guess.
Anyway we will have to see wether we can get our hands an 'm-audio' delta series device.
What are the specific models you guys have problems with?
