Hi guys
I,ve recently noticed my machine has slowed down dramaticaly, did check in task manager/performance and resolume 1.5 is using up 100% of my cpu even when it's just opened empty and inactive. Needs fix, anyone else with this prob?

Have you ever launched Soundforge? there it's the same.... I don't think it's a real problem. Resolume might take so much use of the CPU for attention and quick response. Seems like the algos and functions already run.

it does the same with me even without video in the layers.. and that sucks cuz the rest of the computer needs attention too.. apparently its been programmed with a polling mechanism rather than calls

It is completely normal for resolume to use the full 100% of your cpu. Other vj software do that too.
This problem was already discussed in a previous thread. Please read some more before posting.

Why would have have resolume running and not be using it? It's a performance tool, so it is presumably optimised for performance, when it will be pretty much the only thing running.
I'd much rather have resolume optimised that way rather than built like an office application.

Yes I agree Resolume is a performance tool, it's just that I noticed this when I was running sound software or editing video while testing my work in Resolume.
I wasn't sure if it was normal.

depends mostly on the used codec! I had the same problem...
check "preparing media" in the support-section for details on how you should compress your files.
