Webcam Input Scrambled

I previously had webcam input working, but on updating to the latest Microsoft VX3000 drivers, the input is scrambled. It isn't the drivers per se, as the webcam input works OK with other apps.
I'm on XP Pro SP3. Can anyone else confirm this?
I didn't need to change any webcam config settings before to get it working - do I need to make any changes with the latest driver?
UPDATE: Webcam functionality restored by rolling back to Lifecam 1.21
