Is there any chance of making Resolume cheaper? Are there other possibilities to support the makers? Personally I really like this program but I feel it still in a development stage and I'm not willing to spend this amount of money for software that is still in the making.

Personally, I think that resolume is at a fine stage to justify the price it currently has. In fact, I'd happily pay a bit more for it.
Resolume is certainly stable enough to use for gigs (hasn't seriously let us down in over 50 gigs with it)
The fact that the developers are still adding features is a great thing. They haven't asked registered users for any extra money for all these extra features. I would have happily paid an upgrade fee for the new version since it has so much new stuff in it but they just gave it to us. Would you prefer that they kept to the 1.0 feature set and didn't develop it further?
Do you really think that the price is that high? VJing software is a specialist market, so you should expect to pay more for software than you would in a more mass market area. The developers need the money from licenses to fund their work. How are we supposed to have great software if we don't pay high enough prices for software develoeprs to devote time to their work?
What sort of 'other possibilities' are you thinking of to support the makers?

Personally i think the software is cheap and would happily pay double for it!
As a dedicated VJ, i have no idea what i've spent over the last 8 years on VJ related equipment (PCs, mixers, decks etc) but i'm sure its a lot - to now be able to ditch a lot of that gear for a piece of software as cheap as this is fantastic!
Also, as an animator and editor, i've been involved in purchasing software which is far more expensive, and far less stable! - i think we're lucky.

hi Robert Jan,
besides all of the above, i think its great to have software developers actually listen to the end users...
i feel its more like a community other than a solely commercially driven company.
and thats maybe the biggest advantage Resolume has.
and since im not the one who bought resolume (but the clubowner) i would buy it even it was three times the price

i use audio studio software too which costs a hell of a lot more and there's no chance of one of the developers email you help.
