Resolume is deep - parameter animation

I've spent some time exploring the various options for animating parameters in Avenue, and I am very impressed. Hadn't dug into them in as much depth before. That little triangle next to the parameter name opens up a vast world of possibilities. This has also helped me understand a bit more what Resolume Avenue is about, and overcome some of my worries about FreeFrame and such.
I'm impressed with how every single parameter (except transport) can be mapped to timeline, bpm, events, audio, etc. I had been working on a system to animate motion of layers in Resolume, encountered some data rate issues, and then realized that I can actually rely on Resolume to do this all for me. Instead of animating stuff by mapping a controller to OSC or MIDI and then hammering out constant controller changes, I can just set a parameter to sync to BPM or timeline, set the playmode to "play once", and send out a single command. Very slick.
What I now realize is that Avenue is much more about motion than about image. In order to get the most out of it, instead of thinking about "FreeFrame classic" effects, you really need to think about motion, and how parameters are linked and animated.
