Hi, I just tryed a late beta of the upcomming OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard.
And I wanted to try Avenue on it, to se if there was any performance difference.
But every time I went to the menu and there was a sub-menu Avenue hangs, and I have to force quit.
I tryed it serveral time, but no.
I tryed 3.0.1 and 3.1 got the same error in both. I hope this is a beta-bug but lets see when OSX 10.6 is comming out..

Well we are very close to the actual release where we don't have to wonder if it is Snow Leopard itself that is at fault.

I tried it last night on Snow Leopard Build 10A432 on a uni-body macbook (late 2008) ... I had a problem dragging clips into the layers. More oft than not, the clip would not show the highlighted square around the clip slot showing that it was able to drop a clip there. This was random, clips simply wouldn't drop in and not easy to diagnose. On the second try, I created a clean new Composition and then I could drag into any clip place so unsure why it didn't work initially. The only clips I had handy for the test were some bought VJ clips in .mp4 format (640x480) but it worked cleanly without any failures or crashes for the hour plus I was messing with it. I tend to use it on Windows, and my 10,000+ clips are not compatible. Will test more when I'm back home where I can access my other equipment.

The most notable issue we may have with Snow Leopard will be Quicktime X as they've redeveloped it.

It will be interesting to see how Resolume OSX is sped up with the plethora of additions in 10.6.

Im having no problem playing clips, but after some some minutes Avenue crached.
I can play, and mix some clips, and its totally random. I tryed different types, even flash.
It plays, and crashes.
Im going to try another Mac with 10.6 in the weekend..

Im testing Avenue 3.1.1beta on it, still the same bug.

BUT, If I don't use any menus if works, I can run videos and flash.
It crashed some times, but maybe thats a codec problem. I haven't narrowed it down yet..
More testing later to night..

Dying to upgrade my macbook pro to 10.6 but can't till Resolume works stable with it. So if you need beta testers on 10.6 (I have 1 machine on 10.6) to help work out those bugs I'd happily help.
