Hello LAVA fans, join us for a two-pronged eventing of VJ presentations with VJ FILL and VJ MkUltra, followed by some cheap margaritas at the bar up the street!
MkUltra is a Los Angeles based VJ who performs irregularly and spends too much time writing code! He will be demonstrating the Flash capabilities of the recently updated version of Resolume Avenue 3, now with Actionscript 3 support, fully customizable input parameters, and an RSS feed reader! He will also be giving away Flash AS2 video loop libraries (http://emaqdesign.com/video_loops_flash.html) in conjunction with his upgrade of existing flash loops-- bring a thumb drive!
VJ FILL is a Los Angeles based VJ who performs regularly up and down the Pacific Coast. Most recently he performed at the “BrokenBeat” event at Kadan in San Diego with MIGUEX. He will be giving a rundown on how to make a button box for super cheap, as well as modified game input devices: a guitar hero guitar setup with additional modded buttons.
