i have a matrox marvel g400 etv, yes its an old one, now i want to get a millenium g550. my question : does the g550 also outputs dv clips over the dvd max to tv straight from the windows media player?


my marvel g400etv does this and i use this for outputting my vj clips. (i use my computer more as a player. i also have an hardware mpeg decoder card in this same computer , the creative encore.. .. so i have 2 very high quality outputs playing simultanosly from one small computer into the mixer)

the g550 output functions exactly the same as the g400 (but no video in)
You will need to buy the breakout cable separately though, as it doesn't come bundled with the card.
