issues with midi out and Logic/Resolume combination

Hey guys,
I'm trying to use Resolume and Logic in one machine (mac pro, osx 10.5.8) and get a lot of crashes with Resolume for some reason.
Here's what I've done so far:
I'm using the IAC driver to be able to run Logic and Resolume on one machine. I've set the input of Resolume to IAC driver 1, and the output of the logic track to the IAC driver 1 too. So far so good.
If I then go back to resolume and try to assign a clip to a key, using the mapping options and I press a key I see the note number change, but after that Resolume crashes. I've tried this repeatedly but no success so far. Any suggestions here? I can send you the log file, maybe there are some clues there?
