hi topsoil,

dont u have a little brother or someone who u can force to "audio trigger" for u? ;)
but seriously, dont get into vjing if u want to sit back all night ( no offense)...
if u just want some effects like in winamp or windows media player that react to sound, there are plenty of appz who do this. but its not resolume's thing...

good luck...

i don't think that a link to sound input it's a so bad thing, i don't wont "to sit back all night" or "winamp stile", just do better my visuals

One of the most reliable, intuative and powerfull veejay apps around.
But remember that it's not only the software, it's also the content you put into it.
If you want to do lots of hands on reactive visuals and want the freedom to express yourself without being boged down by a complicated interface ... resolume is your baby.

i dont agree on you all concerning audio triggering.
I think you have more freedom in what you do when something is taking care of some kind of audiotriggering (like doing reverse colours on the bass)
It doesnt need to be there all the time. But it looks better when done automatically (even though you have to watch closely if its still correct ;))
1 way of doing it is through the old way:
having a videomixer with audio input taking care of it.. but thats not cheap :(
