Can we know if it is or not possible to select a 720x576 resolution in Resolume and HOW.

I read people who can get it, and people who ask about it in next versions...

It would be nice to clarify...

Thanks!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't happen to my Resolume!!! I run WindowsXP. I wonder if this has to do with the graphic card, the drivers, the OS or the Pi number... ;-))

Bart or Edwin, please clarify this issue!!!

Thanks!!!!

No I can't get those resolutions either, don't think they are available at the moment.

These television resolutions will be very handy for the future ie: 720-576, 768-576 and wide screen formats that i'm not sure of...

Been asked to do some live mixes for music tv programs and at the moment 800-600 is only rez I can use, cropping lots of detail out of the frame.

I've got a geforce 4 mx which gives you the option, what GFX cards are you all using? Maybe if you need it pick up a geforce theyre pretty cheap!

doesn it slow down using this resolution?

if it does what can i do to make it faster when using 3 video layers with effects at the same time...

RAM? procesor? video memory? what?

you will need a very fast hard drive (or a RAID array) to get several layers of hi res movies. Also a good video card.
Read through previous posts on hard drives, codecs, and graphics cards for more info

STUPID QUESTION :

what's actually the difference between those to PAL ressolutions: 720-576 & 768-576?
Is it because of different pixel sizeson PC and TV or what? Maybe you can explain to me....

Thanks for not laughing,
Santa Maria

720 the pixels are stretched slightly to fill the width
768 the pixels are square
If you want to know in greater depth, what the reasons are and the differences check out a AfterFX book in a bookshop, they usually have an explaination!
