Resolume Forum

I'm kinda new to this, and i noticed that i can't drag avi files compressed with divx mpeg-4 codec to the deck...
those are short files, most under a minute, i just compressed them so they would take less space on my HD...
But they won't play. why?
Would they play compressed w/ something else? and what?

resolume doesn't support divx (because divx is not at all suitable for vj-ing), you should compress your files with the cinepak or the indeo codec. check out the manual for more information about this.
