Resolume Forum

Hi,
the resolume software doesn't recognized my controller midi.
I download the last version of the driver (running on xp SP3) there : http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=sup ... S=x71#tabs
but in vain, i never see appear...
Do you have a solution, or anyone has meet the same problem who could help me ?

Can you confirm that your computer recognizes the midi controller (for instance using an application like MidiOx)?

im on win xp service pack 2. the uc33e works fine with avenue 3.1.3 ( i just tested it to confirm )

first of all, uninstall the driver for the uc33e, you dont need it. i havnt used the driver for 3 years or so, its never given me any trouble.

open avenue and go to the preferences ( in the avenue drop down menu ) and then click the midi tab. the uc33e shows as " usb audio device " make sure the box is ticked for midi input.

it should now work.

@ goto10, goods tips, i did install MIDI-OX to check, but as you said it doesn't recognize the UC-33. It's so strange because i use also a nano-keyborad (Korg) controller that resolume reconize as the MIDI-OX thing.

@VJair, i did uninstall the driver because as u, yes when i was in an older version of XP my UC-33 and nona keyboard was reconized by resolume with no problem.

In resolume on the preferences i see the nano but not the UC-33.
But what drives me crasy is that when i plug the UC-33 on my computer, it says that he reconizes the controller UC33 then it appears as generic USB audio device... but after on resolume it never shows..

On the pic i can only see the nano

i guess Vjair has given me clues... without (i would say) really controlling what happen. Magic of PC station ...
The story : once upon a time, my computer started again, i had (as usual) this message saying that he was installing my controller but this time i let him do it automatically and let him search on the web alone for the drivers... then it appeared in my system...

just to keep you inform, this problem has come again...
and now i never can see my UC-33 anymore on resolume...
So i stopped using the UC-33, working only with my nano key (so limited !!!).
I'm waiting to buy another midi controller. I planned to buy the vmx codanova, but they stopped building it for now. I'm waiting for their new midi controller coming up in may i think...
