back in 2.4 it was easy to set a midi parameter to 'endless', which is very usefull for scratching long video clips on a midi controller. Currently if I map control to playhead, it scratches too fast and looks jerky.

This feature was essential for using endless rotary encoders like the behringer bcr2000, and for video scratching.
