Bug? Left part of output monitor flashes white

Hi,

I just encountered an odd problem, when switching to a new machine. Every now and then the left part of the screen (appr. one third of the screen) starts to flash white - like a strob effect. What could be the problem? On the last machine that I used this setup with, there was no problem...

I´m running Resolume and Live simultaneously on a Macbook

Very grateful for any advice!!!

cheers

Hey Nils

That's an odd behaviour, which definitely should not happen! Which screen do you mean exactly, the 2nd output or the interface screen? Also, does this happen with any particular clips? Does it happen when you open the demo composition and play those clips?

As a follow-up to this, we just encountered this problem on a older model MacBook (the black one) as well. Going to the video tab of the preferences, and switching the global effects checkbox off and on fixed it.

Not quite sure what the cause is, but most likely the GPU (with integrated memory) is struggling to keep up.

Thanks a lot for the help!

I recently got a new machine, which hasn't got the same problem, so I'm covered... Thanks anyway!
