hi, i'm new to resolume and i want to play with it, however i have problem to find basics like how i put audio for all composition (i can drop a .wav only into clip) and how to animate clip by audio FFT/external.
i wish to animate a clip by music plaid in itunes, but when i select external, by clicking on play forward nothing happens. in preferencies i did select input 1 & input 2 as external audio FFT input.
could anybody help? cheers

Hey Movie64
You can drop a .wav file on an empty cell, just how you can with a clip. When triggered into a layer, it will then play back as a sound file only. You might want to do this on a separate layer, so you can trigger clips in the others.
External audio FFT is used for sources external to your computer, picked up by a microphone, line in or audio interface. For sources playing on your computer itself, for instance iTunes, you could use a 3rd party app to route the audio back. You don't say whether you're on a Mac or PC, but on a Mac you could look into Soundflower. For a PC, there are a few threads on the forum outlining the process for WinAmp.
I hope that answers your questions and good luck!
