Video Glitch/Stutter

Recently at a show I had a 7 minute video to play as a promotional. For the most part the video played well; however, in the last minute or so of playback, the video froze for a few seconds while the audio track continued without a hitch and then the video would jump to where it should be at. It did this about 3 times.
Has anyone else had any problems like this?
At this point I'm trying to determine if my video file is corrupted in some way, or if Resolume Avenue has problems playing back files in excess of 5 minutes/over 1GB in file size, or if I've got some hidden codec conflict going on. The video was an AVI encoded in MJPG using TmpgEnc 4 Xpress.
Any suggestion/insights would be appreciated. Thxs!

Phenom 9850 2.5Ghz
4 GB RAM
Radeon 5770 1 GB
