I still wonder if it is possible to use sound volume and/or frequency to modulate any parameter I would be an amazing extra if effects would react on audio analysis, still I like to work live to the music it would be a giving an amazing matrix if the image would in one way or another react directly to the sound, are you planning it for future versions of resolume.?

If you need a quick solution for reacting to audio, use a copy of flowmotion on another box, you can assign fx to react to various frequencies etc. I'm a firm beliver in using a few programs to get a total solution.

hi,
resolume 2.0 will be sound enabled.
we allready made a test version internally that can adjust parameters according to the different spectrum values of any sound produced by the computer, line-in, mp3 etc.

we will release another piece of software in the very near future wich will support sound analyses as well.

cheers

whe are planning to release version 2.0 around the end of april, so beginnig of march.
in between we will release another tool wich will incorperate features that will be seen in version 2 as well. and yes sending specturm data to flash files is one of them.

sync to midi clock is something we don't have that much experience in but because a lot of people are asking for it we gonna work it out.

cheers

I'm really curious how the sound analyzer will work. We're expirementing with Vjo more and more just for this really great feature! we'll keep the money in our pockets and wait till 2.0 comes out :)

keep up the great work!
