Hi again

apologies if someone has already suggested this...
how about a "beat tap" button for triggering to the beat - clips could be triggered individually from this "master beat" (or second/third/forth beat...) so all is in sync with the music...

...also had another idea - a text renderer (kind of like in AVS for winamp) - tho i guess if you're a good VJ you can always bash out a quick image in photoshop on the fly...)

cheers

very cool suggestions, i wish these made it into the next resolume.. it is a significant amount of work though, i hope they will take the time to do it.

also, with the decks, it would be cool if the decks could also remember what clips stored in layers 1, 2 and 3, and also what their respective chromakey layer levels were, etc.

more than 20 clips per deck.. I tryed resolume with yamaha rm1x (groove box - midi controller) and they works great.. except crashing.. if you use midi keyboard it would be usefull to have more tan 20 clips in deck.. else you have to change them which is not so easy on 10x10 cm monitor..

For me the most importatnt thing is that program doesn't crash.. and second is speed..

would be good to sort out the cross fading, there seems to be big difference between the 48 value and the 52 value when you're trying to smoothly mix
between 2 layers

Good ideas!!!!
More than 20 slot wil be great. Others sugestions: programming the sequencing of "chaos". Different channel swich time for each one. The fade style on the each channel for specific movies (some movies need different settings).
I hope the software grow much more!!!!!
Thanks for it!

It would be great if you could bind a channel to a layer. That would be great for clips (like titles) played always on a layer with transparent background.

Also, an immediate "Black out" button will be useful.
and a "Strobe" or "Flicker" filter.

i was thinking about these few things:
1) when u save the decks it should remember the global effect too
2) make it possible to handle more than one global effect
3) when i erroneously try to load streaming quick time movies, and some mpegs movies, it always does strange things: put a check if the file type is correct
4) make it possible to synchronize the effect's sliders to the music
