Hi there
I'm experiencing a rather weird problem where all my DXV rendered footage doesn't appear as it should on Resolume 3.2.0 output. I recently reformatted my MBP to install Snow Leopard and Resolume 3.2.0. When loading my arrangements, all clips that where rendered in my previous Leopard Mac with the DVX codec for Resolume 3.1.3 appear with much lower opacity and have a massive degradation in quality (looks like the have some sort of burn out effect or something). I kept my previous Leopard OS on a different disk for reference and backup purposes, since a new installation altogether can always be a bit dangerous, and when I boot from that disk everything plays as it should. Note that any clips that aren't rendered with the DXV codec eg. Pro Res footage plays and outputs fine on Resolume 3.2.0. I even re-rendered some footage with the new DXV 2.0 codec, but with no luck..

Any suggestions on what the cause of the problem could be ???

Could you send us some of your files so we can have a look?

after thorough tests to narrow down the problem and a research in the apple forums I realized that the problem is not on your end....It appears that updating Snow Leopard to 10.6.3 from 10.6 (or 10.6.2 apparently) is the root of the problem. A software bug on the particular Apple OS update is causing the strangeness. After the update, as many people complained including me, the output appears to be much darker and kinda color saturated in a heavy way. So I had to reinstall the OS and stick to 10.6 which works now with no problems...So I would recommend avoiding this update until Apple comes up with a fix.

Thanx for the follow-up, we were getting worried.

I had the same dark output on vga after update to 10.6.3.

Simple solution: just selected another colorsync-profile (from vga-monitor to syncmaster)
and everything works fine...
