It took me a whole night to figure out.
Since I didn't want the crappy quicktime for windows i used quicktime alternative,
and I installed it in my C:\video\tools\ folder.

Problem: the dxv installer put the qtx codec file in the "program files\quicktime\qtsystem\" folder

FIX: copy the qtx file in your "quicktime alternative\qtsystem" folder


Note to resolume devs: It might be useful to set a "quicktime folder check" in future version of resolume so that the dxv codec falls in the right folder... could save some "alternative" people time
