Hey Resolumers

I'm currently playing around with a DisplayLink (displaylink.com) adapter which enables me to attach an extra monitor to my notebook. Now I can move the Resolume interface there and would like to use my main Notebook display just as a preview of the output.

Is it possible to undock (or mirror) the output preview from the GUI and show it (fullscreen?!) on an separate display?

You cannot 'undock' the output preview window. I'm not quite sure how your set up is exactly, but maybe going fullscreen on display 2 does the trick for you?

Can I go fullscreen on two displays simutaneously? Even if those two have different aspect ratios?? (Dont think so..)

My setup consists of three displays:
The notebook main display - I would want to use that for preview
The extended display via DisplayLink - this is a touchscreen I want to use for Resolume's interface
The notebook output - there is a TripleHead2go attached (or a direct connection to the projector

You can use the advanced screen setup in this case.
This enables you to activate multiple screens and also pick a region of the composition you want to display.
So make one big composition and select the parts you want to send to the different screens.

Okay, I gave it a short test at home and it was generally working (but had some difficulties with scale/positioning). On monday I'm back in the office and I'll give it a try on my "extended notebook". If it works -- wow, that would be super cool!!

Have you had any issues with your DisplayLink adapter not showing the preview/live mixes? If so, interested to hear any solutions, I just can't get it to work.

I had issues initially. But after registering for their beta drivers forum (http://www.displaylink.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12), I could download the latest beta drivers (5.4b1). Those are working fine for me. (win7 pro 64bit)

Today I did an intense test - and it works! Yeah!!
* Resolume interface on a touchscreen, driven by the DisplayLink adapter. (Hoooray, clip triggering is so much better now!)
* Output through TH2go on 3 projectors.
* And preview on my notebook display. (Setup through Advanced Display Settings as Edwin suggested. I just had to go into window mode, as fullscreen changed the aspect ratio)
