Hey!

I wanted to ask whether it's 'normal' that when no clips are loaded the CPU load is about 25% here [on a 2,4 GHz with 2 cores - no C2D] - or am I the only one experiencing this?

That's normal. I get about 25% percent as well. Resolume has a lot of processes running 'under the hood', even when you're not playing any clips.
