Dashboard arrangement/naming

Hey,
1. I just set up a new comp… and I asked myself: why are we wasting so much space here? Wouldn't it be great to have some more room for naming the pottis?

2. What do you think about the clips' menus (dashboard, transport, cue points, etc.) status to be applied on all clips. I see myself opening and closing the several menus over and over again e.g. when renaming the pottis while preparing a comp… But then on a live set it would be cool to switch back to the original behaviour e.g. for having one clip's dashboard opened for effects control and than on another clip only having the cue points opened for triggering as it might not have any effects. Maybe a checkbox in the prefs?
3. Oh and while I am at it: some predefined names for when I drag a parameter onto the dashboard? Maybe even for Flash and QC files (just adopting the parameter's name)?
