What would the best way to allow the crowd to take photos through out the night on their camera phones and then upload them to an RSS feed? -
Would the best way to have it interact with a QC composition, which is played as a clip?
Any one done anything similar or know of any tutorials?

I did a picture parser via MAX/MSP downloading JPGs from a website/RSS. But from my point of view it wouldn't be a good idea to try getting those into Resolume via MAX.
Quartz Composer comes with an RSS sample. I used it as a starting point to stream typo–content from an RSS feed and process it. I'd suggest you have a look at that sample.
As to uploading the pictures to an RSS feed I can't really help you. Maybe someone else can.

There is bound to be some Flash examples for this to be found on the net.
