Looks good so far!
My main concern is the speed bug, you know clips playing too fast on their own then slowing when you add fx or xfade, has that been tackled?
Hows Hires playback, and can you stream that over the network, or is it time to upgrade to gigabit?
Ah questions questions questions,
I think this might be a busy old thread!
Cant wait to get my hands on it!
Cheers

Well as you already heard from edwin, I saw this 2.0 version live last friday and, as posted in my earlier topic here, I'm very happy with the improvements you've made. For sure I'm going to buy an upgrade for my 1.51. It's already one of the best vj-progs for pc and I think you're position only gets better with this new version.
Really liked the network option to link more computers to eachother back and forward the signals and create out of control feedback kind of effects.. :-).

Can't wait till it's august ;-)....

Nice improvement, with the sound input ;)

Does the 2.0 will need a huge ram or cpu setup ?

Any spec so far for computer requirement ?

Very nice!!! I way have to go out and buy a widescreen monitor just to accomodate that beautiful interface! Can you guys expand on the "Special playmode for flash to allow action scripting"? What does this mean exactly? Will there be a slider or such to adjust a variable within the Flash movie? ie: a Midi controllable parameter that would adjust a property value (rotation, size, alpha, position, custom setting etc.) of an actionscript animated object within that Flash file. Will we be able to sync the audio analysis to actionscript?

I need a bigger midi controller, more knobs & sliders!!

Nice job, can't wait until August.

yes we have the speed bug on our to-do-list and we hope to have that fixed before release

the hardware specifications for v2 will be the same as for 1.5

the special flash playmode will just let flash do the playback of the clip so resolume do not ignore frame actionscripting

we will also build in the options to send parameter feeds to actionscript variables ... this will work just like haveing 4 parameters on an effect. you can then pick up those variables in actionscript and do whatever you want with them ...

ehm, looks great.
am being a itty bit sceptic though... 'bout two things:
1. release date, don't give us dates, just tell us when it's finished!
2. 1280 display with :S Can we throw away our light and easy to pack TFT'a allready???

apart from the choice of color GREAT work and GREAT set of new features! A good job on the layout as well..

I think it'll be worth waiting for, just don't tease us anymore ;)

Looks great.

As i'm trying to make my own midi controller, just wondering

1. can the tabs to select multiple decks be midi controlled?

2. Are the 3 global effect panel be selected via midi and then the parameters controlled by midi (some what like selecting a channel)

Cheers.
